Milo and June and the Circle of Little Friends

A dream adventure in twelve chapters

On the last warm night of summer, next-door neighbours Milo and June fall asleep counting stars — and wake up inside the same dream. A glowing path leads them around a great circle where twelve little friends are waiting: a bouncy ram, a gentle bull, two chatty twins, a cosy crab and more. Each friend gives them a star and a small lesson, until the circle is complete and both children discover where they belong.

Each of the twelve chapters introduces one friend from the zodiac — with a real date range, a home village and a small “star lesson” to carry home. The book ends with a Star Passport for children to fill in, and a gentle note for grown-ups on the difference between astrology (an old tradition) and astronomy (the science of space).

For grown-ups. The story uses the twelve signs of Western tropical astrology, with the date ranges printed in the book (boundary days can shift by a day depending on the year and the source). It is shared as a fun, old tradition — never as a fact about who a child is or will become. The "Finding your house" page explains, very simply, that astrological houses are slices of the sky worked out from the time of birth.
